The Museum of Welsh Life, St. Fagans - one of Europe's most outstanding open air museums.
Llancaiach Fawr Manor House, is one of the best surviving examples of a semi-fortified Tudor Manor House in the country. Throughout the summer you can visit on a daily basis to see history come alive as stories are acted out within the grounds.
The Roman site at Caerleon with its Roman Baths and Amphitheatre is only an hour away.
