Safety has become a critical part of the decision making process when taking children or young people away.
Glynmeddig Bunkhouse is a safe environment that has been designed with the high standards of safety in mind. The barn is fitted with a British Standard fire and smoke alarm system. Risk assessments have been carried out by The Prince's Trust and the South Wales Police who have deemed it a safe place for people to stay.
With our mix of 8 bedrooms we are able to offer you plenty of flexibility with the sleeping arrangements. You can bring sleeping bags or bedding can be provided.
The games room with its table tennis, snooker table and spin football, TV and video provides indoor activities. There is plenty of room for young people to let off steam inside as well as outside the barn. There is a new all weather tennis court. Glynmeddig also has exclusive use of an indoor sports hall within a mile; this has three badminton courts, basketball, five-aside-football etc.
We are able to accommodate up to 4 disabled people in our downstairs bunkrooms and there is a fully equipped disabled shower and WC facility.
If you would like to bring young people away for a less demanding but still inspiring trip to Wales, go to our holidays and weekenders page for ideas
